Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is Uganda’s only place to see wild rhinos and a cornerstone of the country’s rhino conservation efforts. A Conservation Landscape Restoring Uganda’s Rhinos

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary covers over 70 square kilometers of savanna, wetlands, and woodland habitats. Established as part of the Rhino Fund Uganda (RFU) and managed by Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch, the sanctuary’s mission is to reintroduce rhinos to Uganda’s national parks, where they were wiped out by poaching in the 1980s.
